My furnace would not work. After searching online for repair guys, I found Mr. Johnson on Angie’s list. I called him and he came right over without an appointment. He figured out the problem very quickly and ordered the parts. Once the parts were in, (1 business day), he returned and installed the parts and now the furnace works fine. Mr. Johnson is very professional and all you would want in a service guy. He will be back before the summer for my A/C checkup. I will use him from here on out. -Clay Carver, Fayetteville NC
We called this company on a Sunday and had him come out on a Monday to avoid weekend charges. He seemed to do honest work and kept me well-informed with what he was going to do to our unit…I will consider using his services again in the future.

LATE Sunday night Our home AC stopped working so after reading the reviews here on Angies list I decided to call AC MAN around 9:30 am the following day. I recieved an appointment for 1:00 pm and I was informed upfront about the $60.00 service fee. He did arrive on time and after a brief discution of my assesment of the situation which we both agreed was likely the case, He decided to do a thorough inspection of the whole system. In doing so found the true culprit, a faulty connection in the circuit for the fan. All done in about an hour. -Jose Plaza, Fayetteville NC
AC Man fixed the A/C on the 2nd floor of my house. The thermostat did not display any information on it because it lost power. The contractor promptly arrived at my house, figured out what the problem was, replaced the broken parts, and was able to fix my A/C. Great job overall! I called AC Man around 10:30am to set up an appointment and they told me they could be at my house by noon. The A/C on the 2nd floor of my house stopped working and I needed it repaired so I called the “AC Man”. After promptly arriving on time, the technician replaced one of the fuses that went out. This returned power to the A/C panel on the 2nd floor but it still didn’t fix my A/C. The technician went outside and did some trouble shooting and finally figured out a switch outside was also short circuited and promptly replaced it. AC Man promptly repaired my A/C and it’s not 100 degrees on the 2nd floor anymore! AC Man charged me $60 as a service charge to determine what is wrong with the A/C. This is their standard price for all service jobs. I was then charged $45 for parts and $50 for labor for a total cost of $155. The quality of work was great and I would highly recommend other people to use this contractor, especially if you want a quick response. -Bryan Rhee, Spring Lake NC
The Job was well done Mr. Johnson Track down the problem repaired my unit, I will used him again and tell others about him. -Todd Davenport
I got home from vacation to find our AC not working — in the middle of the major heat wave. Called him and he was out the next day. Found the problem quickly and came back the next day with the part and had it installed and the AC working quickly. Because it’s an old unit he warned that, although he replaced this part, it was likely that it would break down again — that we would most likely need a new unit soon. There was no pressure from him for us to replace the whole thing right then and get more money out of us, but it was just a heads up for what’s likely to come in the future. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. – Lisa Friel Fayetteville NC

Good Advice
This is a great blog with information one would normaly have to pay for. I recommend getting service and repair from AC Man!
This is my second service call with the AC Man and once again I am very impressed and satisfied with this company. The technician was very polite and professional. There were no hidden charges or fees. He recommended other products that would help the air quality in my home and save energy without any high-pressure sales tactics. He was very knowledgeable about my repair and the other products he recommended. When I asked questions he gave detailed answers that where neither over simplified nor over my head and didn’t appear to be annoyed by my questions. I will continue to be a customer of AC Man and recommend him to anyone needing heating or a/c repairs. Keep up the GOOD work!
I appreciate the discounts even before service. Great Idea!
Thanks!
Compressor went out in the AC unit at my house. I was quoted over $1,800 from one local company to make the repairs. Then I called AC Man to get a quote from him. He arrived the same day and quoted me $1,020 for the exact same repairs. He returned the following day with the parts and completed the work for the same price he had quoted. AC Man saved me over $800, THANKS!!!!
The best in the business!
Mike (AC Man) is one of the most professional individual and businessman that I have met and consistently does business with. He services and maintain four units at my home. If there are any issues he is the only AC and Heating professional that I call. What’s so amazing about Mike… is that he is honest, fair and trustworthy. Unlike past experiences…I have never once questioned his pricing. If you want your system(s) serviced right, a fair price and someone that’s going to show up when you call despite how busy I can imagine that he is… and you don’t want to stress over what it’s going to cost you…, call AC Man (Mike). They don’t come any better, and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
